Obscure tune from The Godfather Part II?
Does anyone know, or could guess, the name of the tune/song being sung and played in the background during the scenes where Michael and Fredo are talking at an outdoor cafe in Havana? A variation of the same tune/song was played as background music to the new years ball at the presidential palace that evening in Havana. Both instances were spanish-language, melodic, and I suspect a pop tune from the setting 1958-1959.

I've tried searching iTunes and using google.

Obscure tune from The Godfather Part II?
The Sandpipers had the hit version way back in 1966, but there's probably better versions around.

Obscure tune from The Godfather Part II?
For some reason I've got it stuck in my mind that version I heard on the soundtrack (new years eve scene at the palace). I've got an older VHS set someone left at my apartment so I will try and read the end credits. Not much chance I'll be able to read it if it is credited, but at last I now know the song name.
