HotSpot Software helps you in controlling and billing your customers for the Internet usage. Customers will be redirected to your login page to sign-in or pay before getting the Internet access, or automatically logged in with remaining quota and time. The software controls download, upload, data transfer (bandwidth quota), time usage, visited pages and blocks the inappropriate content.
HotSpot Billing software runs on your Windows PC, controls unlimited user accounts, and displays data to customers on your self-branded pages. It includes billing, statistics and reporting with many ISP grade features - not available in router based WiFi hotspots.

Windows software with the user-friendly interface. It does not require any proprietary hardware so you can use any standard PC with two network cards to create the HotSpot billing gateway.
Zero Client Administration
Web-based login and no client software installation are required. Our software secures your hotspot by forcing all customers to the login screen. Any operating system and any Internet browser can be used on the customer computer (like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Conqueror).
Easily configures most important options. Wizard will help you share your Internet connection using HotSpot NAT feature, instructs you how to configure the computers in your network, personalizes your HotSpot so you can start providing the service immediately.
Creates prepaid user accounts with the username and the password
User accounts are time limited, when the session ends, the customer can continue browsing after buying additional time

NAT (Network Address Translation)
HotSpot uses NAT optionally to share the Internet connection. It allows you to share one Internet connection (DSL, cable modem, wireless) among all your customers.
Download and Upload Rate Control
Download and Upload rates are configured for each user account separately and they represent the speed of customer connection to the Internet. You can sell high rate accounts for an additional fee or save more bandwidth for VIP customers. Example: set 10 KB/s for regular accounts and 100 KB/s for special accounts
Bandwidth Quota Control (Traffic Quota Management)
Bandwidth quota is configured for each account and it represents the total amount of traffic available to the customer. Example: The customer can download 100 MB daily, 5 GB monthly or the combination of these, with an option to order additional bandwidth.
Accept Credit Cards
The payment process is completely automated and the customer is able to choose the username, the password and a pricing plan (like One-hour Internet time or one-month unlimited access). You will not need staff to sell tickets. A single easy-to-use setup interface enables transaction processing with 70 Major Internet Payment Gateways including PayPal.
HotSpot login can be switched to the secure mode login through HTTPS server, included in the package. We provide a standard generic SSL certificate, and you can additionally purchase your own certificate in order to eliminate browser warnings. The secure mode can be used for login, password change, data collecting, while credit card payments always go through the secure mode.
Customize pages displayed in customer browser
HotSpot Themes are an easy and convenient way to change completely the look of the HotSpot pages in the customer browser. The themes can be modified in order to match your corporate look. You can change colors, modify graphics and buttons and save it as a new theme.
Allow free Internet access with limited connectivity. In the free access mode client computers are recognized by MAC address.
Customer Data Collection
Forces the customer to enter personal data after login (like the name, an address, an e-mail, etc.). After submitting, the customer gets the Internet access. You can use the customer data for your own records or for the purpose of marketing.
Redirecting After Login
Antamedia HotSpot can redirect the customer after login to a desired web page. For example, you can redirect the customer to your main website or to the customer portal.
Customizes a message which appears on the welcome screen after the customer login. It also shows a warning message saying that the account is about to expire if the time and quota are below defined limits or the expiration date is near. The customer will be informed when it is time for the top-up account or to make a monthly payment.
Configures different day / time templates when customers are able to use your services. For example, some customers can login from 8AM to 8PM, while others can login at weekends. Predefined usage scheduling templates are included.
Autologin feature automates the login process. After the initial login, the customer is no longer prompted for the username and the password. This significantly improves the ease of use and the customer satisfaction. Autologin can be used for selected accounts or to automate login for VOIP phones through HotSpot.
IP and Port filtering
Specify IP and port blocking rules for outgoing traffic. The option can be used to limit specific services only, like limit ftp or email usage, or to disable complete access to the IP range. For example disable IP addresses 22.214.171.124 to 126.96.36.199 and port range 10-100.
Disables access to desired host IPs, and redirects them to any other IP and port. For example, redirects all blocked websites to your website homepage.
If your ISP blocks default SMPT port 25, you can redirect customer E-mails to your own SMTP server. The customer does not have to change the smtp server in E-mail client software - it is completely transparent.
Sends e-mail messages to your customers to remind them about the account expiration, a payment receipt, a newsletter or service maintenance. HotSpot includes default E-mail templates which you can edit. You can even create new templates.
Customizable Print Templates
Modifies existing print templates or creates totally new templates that match your business identity.
There are plenty of languages included in the HotSpot software. Any of these can be adjusted to your own needs through the integrated editor. Some of the languages are: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Serbian, Arabic, Russian, Icelandic, Swedish, Danish, Greek, Croatian, German, Polish...
Blocks access to the websites that contain specified keywords in URL address. You can prevent access to porn, Warez etc.
Logs URL addresses that customers visit along with their username, IP, date and time, and the notification if the access was allowed or blocked
Specifies keywords which redirect the customer browser to the other URL. For example, when the customer enters a competition brand name, the browser will be redirected to your website. In addition, the customer can modify default keywords for logout (LogMeOut ) and info page (ShowMeInfo).
Enables specified computers (identified by MAC address of the network card) to pass through the HotSpot gateway without authentication. For example: allows some computers from your cafe to pass the login page if these computers already use the Internet Cafe management software. Other computers, like WiFi Laptops are still redirected for login
The customer can browse through specified websites without authentication. You can set up a company website or a website with advertisements which are free for all customers. If customers want to find out more, login is required
You can check out earnings for a specified time period, a computer or an employee. Data can be exported as pdf, html, csv or text report
HotSpot stores different actions performed by employees or customers, including sales, session start and stop, the time of login attempts etc. You can filter the database by date, action, username, computer IP or MAC address
Usage report is a session-based report which precisely shows who, when and how much has used your HotSpot services
Statistics Available in Chart and Table View
Real-time statistics and usage reports provide time usage, bandwidth, logins and sale reports in the chart and the table view. You can check the account download, the number of logins per day, the top customers by time usage etc.
Realtime Usage Report
The graphical representation of the customer download and upload activity. It includes values for maximum users online, maximum download and upload and the date when it was recorded.
Creates Prepaid Tickets
Creates user accounts in advance and prints them as tickets. You can sell such tickets on the counter, at the reception, using a vending machine etc.
Charges Additional Time
When the customer runs out of time, extra minutes or hours can be added to the existing account
Charges Additional Bandwidth
The same applies to bandwidth. Additional MBytes are specified in blocks, e.g. 1 MB costs $1.00, 5 MB cost $3.00 , etc.
Very flexible tax system fits into tax regulations of various countries. There are three different taxes with a tax on the tax option
Configures receipts to show your company logo, the hotspot name, a header and a footer. Prints optionally date and time on receipt
Each employee has its own account which is used for the HotSpot login. An employee activity is logged with the time and the type of an action performed. There are different employee types like Administrator, Manager, Operator and each of them has access to different areas of software. Manager can see statistics and modify accounts, but it cannot modify the HotSpot main settings
It is a pop-up browser window which shows the time remaining on the user account and bandwidth quota left
The customer can type SHOWMEINFO or LOGMEOUT to show InfoBox quickly or to finish the session. The account is updated and the time left stored for future use
Multiple Location Support
Connects all your hotspots in one network and you can use the same database. Your customers are able to use their remaining time in any of the hotspot locations. For example, a large resort can provide UTP connection in every room and install several access points in restaurants, a lobby, by the pool etc.
Very simple and straightforward user interface for account generating. In three steps an operator will choose a pricing plan, the number of accounts to generate and click on the Generate button to make new accounts and to print them optionally. It is possible to connect multiple HotSpots in the operator mode and generate accounts from different locations. It can be also used for the easy management from a remote computer which is connected to the same HotSpot database.
HotSpot API - Integrate HotSpot With Third-Party Software
Easily generates accounts, gets a list of pricing plans, and performs various other actions from your own or the third-party software. The integration is done as a HTTP GET query and XML response which offer very short integration time
