Panasonic HDC-TM700 Low Light Performance - Adjust Brightness

Panasonic had announced HDC-HS700, HDC-TM700, HDC-SD700 and HDC-SD500 with perfect video shooting functions. The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization) is to make perfect video even with hand-shake. The wide-angle lens makes it easy to take a group photo, and the equipped microphones record 5.1-ch Dolby Digital audio.

Here we focus on the low-light performance for Panasonic HDC-TM700.

The advanced 3MOS Sensor provides 7.59 million effective motion image pixels and reduces light loss compared to the 1MOS sensor. The 3MOS sensor will give you bright images even in low-light situations. Besides the 3MOS sensor, the new Crystal Engine PRO and new Noise Reduction (NR) Technology will help taking sharp and bright videos and images in low lighting conditions. You may find the difference between the brightness below.

When taking Panasonic HDC-TM700, you may notice the iA function, which is the short term for Intelligent Auto. When iA is on, the camcorder will detect the target situation and switch the scene mode automatically with the Intelligent Scene Selector. When the excessive brightness produces blown highlights in other camcorder, the iA on Panasonic TM700 will help you capture perfect motions and images. There is also Intelligent Contrast Control to prevent blown highlights and blocked shadows with face detection technology.

While the AVCHD camcorder provides so much for handling excellent images or videos, the bundled software HD Writer AE for Windows does not include the functions to adjust video brightness. In the very few cases when the camcorder does not provide good performance in low light or contrast, you can use Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter to adjust AVCHD video brightness.

With Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter, you just need to import the .mts or .m2ts videos from directory like AVCHD > BDMV > STREAM after clicking the Add button on the converter. Then click the Editor button and go to Effect tab for changing the brightness and contrast.

Put and Play Flash Videos FLV on Windows Phone 7

While Windows Mobile is aimed at enterprise market, the newly released Windows Phone 7 operating system is for consumer level smartphones. It is another step of Microsoft to compete with Apple iPhone 4.

There are two multimedia hubs for Windows Phone 7: Music + Video, and Pictures. The music and movies format support of Windows Phone 7 (WP7) is similar to Zune HD with H.264, MPEG-4, VC-1, WMV, MP3, and WMA. You can access the Zune Marketplace to buy music, or put and play your movie collections on WP7.

However, there is no Adobe Flash support yet. If you would like to play Flash video on Windows Phone 7, you can convert FLV to MP4 or WMV for Windows Phone 7.

How to convert Flash video to Windows Phone 7?
Aunsoft Video Converter is the best WP7 video converter for you to take videos to Windows Phone 7. You can also easily play HD videos like TiVo, MKV on Windows Phone 7 after conversion.

1. Run Aunsoft Video Converter as the best video to Windows Phone 7 converter, and click the Add button to import the Flash videos with H.264, Nellymoser, H.263 for conversion.

2. Click the Format option, choose Zune/Xbox 360 device group and select Zune HD MP4 Video(*.mp4) as output format.

3. Click the convert button under the preview window to start converting FLV to Windows Phone 7 with the WP7 video converter.

After conversion, you will get the output videos in .mp4 format ready for transferring and syncing to Windows Phone 7. If you want to play Blu-ray movies and DVD movies on Windows Phone 7, just try Aunsoft Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate.

Change TM700 1080/60p to 30fps or 24fps DVD Disc with 4.9GB

I would like to convert my videos from Panasonic's 1080p format (HDC-TM700) to iMovie format (.MOV), so that I can edit the video, burn to disc and project on screen for conference room presentation. The 1080/60p recording provides smooth and high quality video. Considering the bit rate with 28Mbps and frame rate with 60 will be too large for a 4.9GB DVD disc, I need to convert change the settings from TM700 1080/60p to 30fps or less frame rate.

Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac is the recommended AVCHD camcorder converter for Panasonic to iMovie. It does not only convert MTS to MOV, but also allow changing video bit rate and frame rate for adjusting video file size.

Parameters that would influence the output video file size: Bit rate and frame rate.

Bit rate: It is the date to be stored per second. The higher bit rate will show the image with more details. However, a higher bit rate may also produce large video file size as output. Panasonic HDC-TM700K provides 28Mbps recording mode for high quality videos. Within Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac, there are recommended profiles like high quality, medium quality and low quality for output video bit rate. Media quality will be OK for DVD.

Frame rate: It is the frame number for displaying per second. While TM700 provides 60fps video, it shows 60 frames per second in progressive mode. With Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac, you can change the frame rate to 30fps, 24fps, even 23.976fps and 29.97fps.

To convert from 1080p at 60fps (HD Camera format) to *.MOV format at some lesser fps:

Step 1. Run Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac as Panasonic to iMovie converter, import AVCHD videos and choose HD Video > H.264 HD Video(*.mov) as output format.

Step 2. Click Settings button and you will find the detailed video parameters like bit rate and frame rate.

Step 3. Enter the value you like or choose available options like 24 or 30 as frame rate in fps.
After changing bit rate and frame rate with Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac, you will get small file size for iMovie and 4.9GB DVD disc.
